I am an applied ecologist. My primary interests are in population ecology, animal behavior, conservation biology, and their field applications in multiple use landscapes. Since my PhD (Wildlife Sciences), I have been studying bustards and associated wildlife of India's open natural ecosystems. My current work focuses on science based conservation of endangered bustards, involving population monitoring, conservation breeding and habitat management.
